The HERE City Network reserves full editorial discretion over published content, including the right to edit for clarity, length, style, and local relevance. We may decline submissions that are overtly promotional without newsworthy substance, contain unverifiable claims or misleading information, are not relevant to the communities we serve, or duplicate content already widely published elsewhere.

We do not guarantee publication of any submission. Our editorial team reviews all content to ensure it meets the standards our readers expect from a trusted local news source.

In addition to press releases, we offer interview-style feature placements. These provide a more in-depth, editorial format that highlights your client, executive, or organization through a conversational Q&A or narrative profile.

To streamline the process for both parties, we offer a collaborative approach to interview content. The submitting party may propose a set of interview questions and provide written responses on behalf of the subject. Our editorial team will then review, refine, and reshape the content to meet our publication standards. This may include rewriting for tone and readability, adding local context and relevance, condensing or reorganizing for clarity, and supplementing with additional editorial framing.

The final published piece will read as an editorial feature, not a submitted Q&A. This approach ensures quality while respecting your time and your subject’s availability.

All press release and interview submissions should be sent via email to the editorial contact provided in your correspondence. Please include the type of submission (press release or interview feature), the target HERE City market(s), all required materials as outlined above, and the preferred publication date, if applicable.

Our editorial team typically reviews submissions within 3–5 business days. Time-sensitive material should be flagged in the subject line of your email. We will confirm receipt and provide an estimated publication timeline upon review.

One of the unique advantages of working with the HERE City Network is the ability to reach multiple local markets through a single relationship. If your press release or interview is relevant to more than one city, simply indicate your preferred markets and we will coordinate distribution across the appropriate publications.

By submitting content to the HERE City Network, you grant us a non-exclusive license to publish, edit, and distribute the material across our network of publications and associated digital platforms. You retain ownership of your original content and may publish it elsewhere. We retain the right to keep published content on our sites indefinitely as part of our news archive.
