Woofie’s of Lee’s Summit-Kansas City South announces its grand opening, in offering premier pet care services, including dog walking, pet sitting, and grooming with its mobile pet spa, for owners of dogs, cats, and other animals in the Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, Belton, Greenwood, and Raymore areas.

Woofie’s of Lee’s Summit-KC South is managed by Owner Eric Anderson, a Lee’s Summit resident with 20 years experience in healthcare finance and operations. His extensive experience in healthcare is what initially drew him to opening a Woofie’s franchise.

“As a former healthcare executive, I saw first-hand how providing quality care is about the personal interactions and attention from a loving caregiver,” says Eric. “I wanted to work in an industry with a service focus that enriches the lives of families, and pets are a vital part of the family structure. Our goal is that Woofie’s of Lee’s Summit-KC South will be known for providing extraordinary pet care services, and for our staff that values pets as important family members.”

Eric and his wife of over 20 years, Allison, were drawn to Lee’s Summit four years ago, due to its tight-knit community. They live with their four children, Elijah (21), Garrett (18), Lily (14), and Julia (13), and beloved family pup Axel, a mixed breed of mostly Great Pyrenees and Boxer.

Woofie’s of Lee’s Summit-KC South also offers access to 24/7 vet telehealth services through a collaboration with Pet Vet Connection to help give pet owners peace of mind. Woofie’s has also collaborated with premier dog food maker, The Farmer’s Dog, and AncestryⓇ to bring awareness for mixed breed furry friends.
